Breakfast Club - Lightwater Explorers Clubs

Our Breakfast Club offers children a calm, friendly start to the school day in the Lightwater Village School hall. Open to all pupils from Nursery to Year 6, the club provides a safe and supportive environment for families who need an earlier drop‑off. Entry is via the Catena Rise entrance, and our walking bus ensures Junior School children are escorted across the field in time for registration.

Each morning, children can enjoy a variety of engaging activities — crafts and creative play, indoor and outdoor games, scooters and ride‑on toys, and quiet social time with friends. It’s a wonderful opportunity for pupils to mix across year groups and build new friendships beyond their usual class setting.

The club is run by dedicated Lightwater Village School staff and operates during term time from 7:30am to 8:30/8:45am, with breakfast served from 8:00am.

If you only require very occasional ad hoc use of the Breakfast club you must still register and book via magic booking.

Up until February half term we will continue to accept cash payment on the morning for ad hoc sessions. (Ad hoc sessions are not available to Nursery Children) 

 

After School Club - Lightwater Explorers Club

Our After School Club, Lightwater Explorers, is run by Lightwater Village School and provides high‑quality wraparound care for families. Open to children from Reception to Year 6, the club offers a safe, friendly and engaging environment at the end of the school day.

Based in the Infant School hall, with access to a large outdoor space, the club gives children plenty of opportunities to relax, play and take part in a variety of creative and stimulating activities. We aim to create a happy, welcoming atmosphere where children can unwind after school.

Lightwater Explorers operates during term time only and is closed on bank holidays, INSET days and the final day of each full term. Dates for these closures are available on the school website.

Children may only attend on days when they have been marked present on the official school register. Families can register, book sessions, make payments and update details through MagicBooking. All parents and carers must complete the MagicBooking registration process and agree to the club’s terms before their child begins attending.

7:30am to school start £6 per child per session

 

Breakfast Club Nursery (Saplings & Acorns)

7:30am to start £6 per child per session

8:00am to start £8 per child per session

 

After School Club

School end to 4:30pm £11 per child per session

School end to 6:00pm £16.00 per child per session

School Club 4/4.15pm to 6:00pm £12.25 per child per session
