GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

School Tours for 2022 Admissions

Do you have a child who will be starting school in September 2022?

 

If so, please do come and take a look around our wonderful school. Tours will be running on the following dates in November and can be booked by calling the school office on 01276 473346:

 

School Tour Dates:

Tuesday 2nd November 2021: 9-10am 

Tuesday 2nd November 2021: 11-12noon 

Wednesday 3rd November 2021: 9-10am 

Wednesday 3rd November 2021: 11-12noon 

Thursday 4th November 2021: 9-10am 

Thursday 4th November 2021: 11-12noon 

 

Update 1st November 2021:

 

Dear Prospective Parents/Carers,

Thank you for the interest you have shown in our school and for booking onto our school tours. Unfortunately due to the rising numbers in the infection rates of covid-19, we have had to reinstate some control measures at the schools to protect the community.

One of these measures is to reduce the number of visitors on site during the school day and so we are rescheduling our school tours to a weekend so that we can still show you around our wonderful schools safely. The new date and time will be:

 

SUNDAY 12th DECEMBER at 10:00 to 11:00am at Lightwater Village School

 

SUNDAY 12th DECEMBER at 11:30-12:30pm at Hammond Junior School

 

We will be requesting that children do not attend the tours and that each family only sends ONE adult representative. We would also ask that masks are worn at all times where possible. Both tours will be conducted by the Senior Leadership team and Year group Lead teachers so that we can answer all of your questions and queries.

We fully appreciate that this is not ideal and the children would have loved to have welcomed you themselves but we hope you can understand the need for us to take these steps to keep everyone safe at this time.

We look forward to seeing you on the 12th December and in the meantime, our websites have some great videos and presentations which give a good insight into the schools, which I hope you will watch and enjoy!
