GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

We Are Proud to Receive the Schools for Nature Award

We are delighted to share that our school has been awarded the Schools for Nature certificate, recognising our ongoing commitment to protecting, restoring, and celebrating the natural world.

This national award — supported by leading conservation organisations including the RSPB, WWF, WWT, and the Woodland Trust — celebrates schools that take meaningful action for wildlife and biodiversity. The certificate itself is signed by Sir David Attenborough, making it a truly special honour for our community.
