Reception News

Since we returned following the Easter break we have been learning about how to look after the environment. We began finding out about recycling and had lots of fun sorting things into the correct waste bins. We then looked at the impact dropping litter can have on our seas and oceans and made posters to remind others about the dangers of leaving rubbish around. 

This week, we have been looking at our carbon footprint and how we can do little things, to make a big difference. We have finished the week focusing on deforestation. All the children had lots of fun planning our own peaceful protest. You will be pleased to know that we managed to stop any trees being cut down on our school field and the nature reserve!
