Saplings
In Saplings, we’ve been having a fantastic time exploring our garden and learning all about how to take care of plants.
The children have been busy planting a beautiful selection of flowers and greenery, kindly donated by our generous parents. We’ve talked about what plants need to grow—sunlight, water, and care—and everyone has taken great pride in helping to look after our garden space.
We’re so excited to watch our plants grow and see our garden come to life!
Acorns
The children in Acorns Class have been on a wonderful journey of discovery this term, learning all about the living world around them.
We were so excited to welcome duck eggs into our classroom and watch the incredible process of hatching. The children were fascinated as the fluffy ducklings emerged and have loved helping to care for them as they grow.
Alongside this, we've been observing ladybird larvae and learning how they transform into beautiful ladybirds. The children have shown such curiosity and care in watching each stage of this amazing lifecycle.
To bring our learning to life even more, we’ve been busy bees in the garden! Thanks to the generous plant donations from our amazing parents, the children have enjoyed getting their hands dirty planting flowers and vegetables. We can’t wait to see our garden bloom over the coming weeks.
It’s been a magical time in Acorns, full of wonder, learning, and growth—just like the world around us!
