Year 1 at Marwell Zoo

Year 1 ended last term on a high, sharing their wonderful rhyming poems with Reception and creating beautiful plant sketches at the country park.
This term has begun with a brilliant trip to Marwell Zoo, sparking huge excitement for our new animals topic.
In maths, we’re exploring capacity through hands‑on activities, and in RE we’ve started learning about special books, beginning with the Torah.
